Why?

"And I will prepare destroyers against thee, every one with his  weapons: and they shall cut down thy choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.

And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbor, Wherefore hath the Lord done thus unto this great city?"

Jeremiah 22:7-8

End  Times?

by

Art Vandalay

And the little child said......

  " Are we there yet ? "

Biblical references to the end times describe things which will come to pass and conditions that will exist before the world as we know it will end.

Knowledge shall be increased. There will be a falling away of the church. Scoffers and false teachers will come. People will be lovers of themselves and of money

Well, no one can argue that the last 50 to 75 years have seen the greatest increase in knowledge in all of history. The Jewish people have gathered and Israel has become a nation once more.

The sins of quite a number of Catholic priests have done more to help Satan than the worst of criminals. Why? Because their abominations were against children while they professed to be in the service of the Lord.

The Protestant faith has by and large quit preaching against sin. Churches are more concerned with being politically correct than exposing sin with the thought of bringing souls to God.

Sorry if I "hurt your feelings" but:

Abortion is the murder of a helpless human being. Adultery and fornication are sins. Homosexuality and other perversions are sins. Taking anything that doesn't belong to you, however small or insignificant, is a sin. The love of self, money and the things of this world is a sin.

It has become fashionable to consider God-fearing Christians as backwards, superstitious or just plain stupid. Those who don't steal or have sex outside of marriage appear to have become the exception in our society.

And the Bible tells us it will get worse.

Matthew 24 James 5:1-9
2 Timothy 3:1-5 2 Peter 3:3-12

It is my belief that the Church will not be spared the Great Tribulation that is coming. As individuals, our only hope is salvation through the blood of Christ so that we may have no fear of the second death.

If you are a Christian, ask yourself what kind of servant you have been. How will you account for your time and talents at judgment?

If you are not a Christian, confess your sins, ask forgiveness and invite the Son of God, Jesus Christ, into your heart. His death and resurrection was for you. He has paid your dues for an eternal life with him, but you must open the door to let him enter. Otherwise, eternal Hell, the second death, awaits you.

The Bible says our life on earth is like a vapor. Here one moment, gone the next. You may not have much as much time as you think.
